The Enterprise Observatory of South Africa (EOSA), a non-profit company dedicated to exploring entrepreneurial space, was established in 2015 by Johannes Wessels, CEO of Rural Urban Integration Consultants and current Research Associate of the University of Stellenbosch. EOSA primarily builds on his expertise and that of Dr Daan Toerien, former Vice-President of the CSIR and current Research Associate of the University of the Free State.
Our work informs at both policy and strategic levels. Clients could range from central, provincial and local governments; regional planners; consultants; policy makers; local government organisations, small and medium enterprises; financiers; individual businessmen and -women; and the scientific community.
